Inktank praises WOW
"
It's The Little Things
In WoW, I love the overall gameplay and just ease of use. I level up on quests alone and rarely attack creatures without reason. I explore as much as I can, wringing every last drop of quest and exploration goodness from a zone before moving on. Hell, I'll even take on named mobs and creatures that are quest targets for other classes (the Warrior quest Troll in Dun Morogh and the Paladin Dark Irons near the South Gate for example).
But it's the everyday little things that I stop to appreciate every now and then.
1. No zones
so far the only zone I've come across is the Tram. It's so immersive to just be able to run/fly from one area to another. Just seamless.
2. No doors
Yep, WoW has no doors. Well, there are doors but they don't lead anywhere and are just for show. In general, if you need to get in somewhere, you just run right in. No extraneous "click door, wait a sec for it to open, enter" or rushing to leave a building when a door is open to avoid having to click on it to leave. No barriers to entry.
3. No encumbrance
It's nice to just be able to run around and just worry about how much storage space you have on you as opposed to being penalized move speed wise because you are carrying items. Even money doesn't weigh you down.
4. Automatic coin exchange
No need to make a trip to the bank to exchange 200 copper for 2 silver. The game handles all exchange rates automatically, on the fly. I don't even carry change in real life, why should I be bothered in game to do it?
Just more reasons for me to enjoy my time in game. "
