Pc still not working day
well, pc still down :-(
Phil was working on it all yesterday and has taken it home with him last night to look at today
funny thing is he managed to make practically 2 other pc's while he was working on my new one, I think it helps his morale to get something working! :-)
and I guess a lot of my new equipment is new technology too,m so he is not so familiar ;-/
it seems to be behaving a little more, but is still blue screening every now and then, so not at all happy :-(
hopefully he can get to the bottom of it!
all this makes me think that buying a 'fixed' pc isn't that bad an idea :-(

Upset stomach day?
well hello traveller,

I donno, ramble mode must be on!
happy Christmas btw! back to work today :-(
however have just booked Friday off so only 2 and 1/2 days to go :-D
I was saying to mee I think they should name all the days around Christmas, like in between Christmas and new years as well
I donno what they would call them, like Christmas, boxing day, turkey day, no sweets day, upset stomach day, white food only day
erm...that's enough no?
ok so what has been happening in the life of jo?!
been a good Christmas, which has just got a little better coz IT'S SNOWING!!!!! :-))))
been relaxing on Christmas day and boxing day mostly watching TV and dvd's with marc davina and me mum
we saw a lot of teachers series one and two, good stuff :-)
is fun watching series when you can just put the next one on :-)
also watched terminator 3 finally!
and I must say it is good :-)
I don't care what people say about it being crap, its not...its just as good as terminator 2
and I cant wait for terminator 4!!! (fingers crossed!)
oh my bro got me futurama series 4 on dvd, which is groooovy and so much fun :-)
got/getting upgrades for my pc
to a 2.4gig AMD processor 512 ram,
however this hasn't been an easy upgrade and Phil is still working on it!
we think the ram is faulty, so hopefully by the end of today I will have a working pc :-)
got tron and prince of Persia as gift's also :-D however I need a better gfx card to play pop, and maybe tron???
so its back to the shop for me soon enough :-|
at least ill get another pc out of all this :-)
anyway, better get on! later
oh finally, my mail box was over the size limit
support here send emails to inform you of the situation to get you to clear emails, all fair enough...
however when 450 of 500 emails are from support telling me to cut down my size it seems a little silly :-|
anyway, can you believe some customers are actually calling today :-|
that reminds me need to call bt sometime...
anyway...onwards with the work stuff

Boxing day
well hello hello
I have endured another tedious day of chocolate, nuts and videos...yes...it is Christmas!
funny thing is I feel pants, I cant just eat junk all the time, and I find it hard to laze about doing nothing, what is happening to me!
well my computer is being a MAJOR pain in the bum!
was up with Phil on Tuesday(?) till 3am working on it, and it isn't finished, missing usb ports and sound card. however from even little use yesterday and today I have found this is major unstable :-(
it resets itself sometimes for no reason, blue screens and ie crashes
so its all a bit pants, at least I can use it (until it crashes) for email etc
but with no sound card means no games, no usb and missing programs and drivers means no scanner so cant work on any more comics :-(
oh well anyway...hopefully Phil can come over soon to sort it out..

anyway, might....erm....play on dreamcast or something...

looks like blogger has changed it's look again :-|
just a quick hello, been odd day. I was tired from staying up till 3 working with Phil on my pc, so still recovering from that.
and it has been odd being at home and not doing a lot, just eating and watch TV.

I just cannot be doing with the work situation anymore
ive had enough
I almost called in sick this morning, and admittedly I don't feel great but that wasn't really the reason.
the annoying thing is that areas that need to change are 'above' shall we say
and as much as im fed up with the work and responsibility piled upon me, im also fed up of the way things are here..
and the lack of support from above.
well anyway, it's going to get a point where either I'm going to break or just have to make changes happen
its got to that point now.
well anyway, lots to tell about jersey, mostly shopping, pearls and spar's
I will do a quick blog on this, and got a few photos to post, but apart from that not much to tell
it was a nice 4 day break from which I somehow came back more tired than I left ;-)

an early morning
strange how a late early train can get me to work sooner :-|
as someone here said British rail again prove there is something behind the chaos theory.
hmmm hungry...have been quite a lot lately.
getting better at not eating crap in the office, but not had this greeeeat caramel ice cream which tempts me every night...
it's so bad...I have tea...decide I need something sweet, but have a yogert rather than ice cream
and then later in the night the ice cream pops into my head again...but I resist...but decide im hungry enough to need a few bits of toast.
ha..all that's just given me an idea for a comic :-)
gah zzzzz so tired, although did actually have a fairly good nights sleep
oh..saw the firm last night on tele...
good film, mad to think I saw it in the cinema 10 years ago!!!!!
mad to think I saw it with a girl I liked at the time
don't think I should mention names, doesn't seem right somehow.
well anyway, nothing to worry about mee btw, it was a long time ago..(and I'm sure I have told you already)
and the most that happened was she rested her head on my shoulder, and I wasn't sure what to do
so rested my head on top of hers...must have looked stupid ;-)
and..the worst thing of all my parents ended up in the row in front of me!!! :-|
I wonder if they planned that!

off to jersey tomo with mee and jen, so good to get away ;-)

Early lunches not good idea?
ok so I felt weak and none of the guys seemed to want to go at 12 so I thought good idea
but now the yellow glow of the lights and pain in my right shoulder are getting a bit much
not really sure how well I am anyway, I guess need to take a lemsip or something
anyway, busy busy busy when you don't have enough flipping staff ay!
but anyway, can say good bye to all this for a bit as off to Jersey with mee and jen her friend from Thursday - Sunday
so will be good to get away.
Not too sure what we will get up to coz a lot of things will be closed due to the nippy winter season,
but it will be very good just to get away!

right not great day
as im busy I wont go into it, but here is rough outline of my day so far
1>bus didn't turn up
2>taxi late
3>taxi driver guy who knew about my dad dying so asking me questions
4>trains not working at slough, so had be waiting from 7 till 8 ish in the freezing cold
5>therefore making me late for work
6>no one is in which leaves me working on the back log report, something I have never done before and is in no way my responsibility

ARGH! REALLY NEED TO SHAVE!!!!!!

had cell last night and as cheesy as it sounds, we had to say what we thought were good things about each other.
I tell you the way society is it's so hard to take compliments, but I felt so good afterwards.
I had a headache from stressing and complaining about work, and it went.

Oops, you broke it
Right, well i've been meaning to post something here along these lines anyway, but a friend just brought it out of me anyway...
so all typed up, i will prolly edit some of it...
basically, to put you in picture a friend asked why i hadn't seen much of them of late...
".....no actually supprisingly it has nothing to do with you, i lead a busy life...
this weekend away was first good time ive got to spend with daniel for ages, and first time ive seen rhys in ages, and rob!
i am very busy stressed and tired at the mo.
everything is all go, church always needing me to do something or be somewhere, not that i dont love them or what to do it, but it can be a bind of course
work is very busy, im now the team leader kinda with losing 3 ppl in team, kinda 4 including me so we are very short staffed, so it is my responibilty to make sure everything still works, and improve things, and plan things and all sorts.
and all this at a time when id rather curl up and not do anything with my dad dying,
ive been battling my time, dont get to see my gf as often as she doesnt work at #### anymore,
and so ive been busy and so stressed and tired that my eye has been hurting, and ive been sleeping and missing stops on way home.
and all this when im needed at home to make sure my mum is ok, and trying to be more helpful at home and putting up with her sometimes, and just doing more stuff with her..
so no....its nothing to do with you, i dont have a lot of time or energy these days..."

amazing
im working from home and already getting stressed about it!
mainly coz most of my team are leaving or just don't care anymore,
in many ways I agree with them, but that doesn't make my life any easier
there are a few ppl who are still working hard, but I think things will never be the same...

anyway, quick update then on to some procedure stuff...
well most relaxing weekend the weekend just past,
a first LAN in a long time, went off to Coventry to play games with Dusk, Dalai, Blade, Jools and SuperMean Ultra Bob
great fun, and tiring ;-)
lots of aliens vs predator, homeworld 2 and some star craft played, and tried a few other things that didn't really go any where :-)
yeah and saw Maria yesterday, got some Christmas shopping done and saw 'love actually' not a bad film :-)
and it felt great, I think because I had been removed from everything, long weekend, no church, no usual responsibilities, no worrying at home or worrying about mum.
I got away from it all, and so when I saw Maria it felt like it was a Saturday or something:-)
and somehow it felt like we weren't pressured over time that we had together, so had a really good day.
