well, hello...
it's Monday, I'm tired and I'm waiting for my gf to finish training so we can go to lunch.
as usual this weekend I didn't get nearly enough things I wanted to get done, ...done.
the weekend went by far too fast, and nothing much got done on the comic or my website im sad to say.
however I have come to the conclusion that for now at least, I shall just draw and scan the comics, rather than spend all my time wishing I could use the graphics tablet I have better!
I donno about you, but I get rather frustrated when you have something to do and simply cannot do it the way you want...
over the weekend I did see friends play games and help a mate do more on his website...so all good stuff.
just I wish the weekend was a day longer or something!
sunday was of course mothers day, sadly again although I got some time to myself I felt too tired to do anything..such a waste,
but then I find myself stressing over wasting my time and then realising that I just need to spend my time relaxing...
anyway...how cares, enough selfish moaning :-)
the weekend went...it went a lot quicker than I would have wanted. nuff said.
saw 'rules of attraction' on Friday.
it was good.
it really did seem that James vanderwhatever (from Dawson's creek) was really trying to 'look tough' coz Dawson is just such a wimpy person.
anyway, disregarding of this being amusing, it was a good film, often odd, backwards, and even disturbing film.
in actual fact at the end you are wondering if the film is a lot more intelligent than you first thought...
although at times it did have a certain south park im just trying to shock you quality about it.
anyway, its good...go see if you don't mind being shocked in places...

oh and i think ive just got the archives working right again! :-)
its Friday (actually saturday now coz blogger wasnt working!)
and im so glad!
I just cannot DO going out through the week!
I went out Tuesday for friends...wait a minute...ive already done this...
d'oh...oh well
this just shows how tired I am today!
well..ok lets put this another way...
after things mentioned below of my activities this week..
I am now officially shattered! I found it so painful to get up this morning!
im having trouble doing much today.
to be honest im not too upset about that..
I have worked hard for some of the day and got stuff done,
my brain has now died and im having trouble keeping my eyes open and keep thinking about a slightly soar head and throat I have..
I really cannot go out on a week night....
oh dear...
im officially old...
ok, I finally finished reading terry pract's 'thief of time'
only took me about 2 years!
on to 'night watch' next...I've been told its rather good :-)
well I've literally just got out of a team meeting, I've been typing this update throughout the day.
some pants stuff really...kinda knew it was happening as things do spread here...
anyway, to be honest it's not bad, just not what we need to hear.
and I do like the way our manager manages to throw in a few digs now and then...anyway...
the comic, well as I've said (maybe I hope) I've pretty much designed the look of the site, so now all it takes is for me to be happy with a clean, finished, coloured comic and everything will be live :-)))))))))
well anyway, almost the weekend, not much planned...
mothers day and all that, bit of shopping for that tomorrow, but apart from that hopefully time to relax recover and do stuff I always mean to do...
oh btw my dad looks a lot better and is hopefully on the mend! :-)
have a good weekend...I'm sure you'll hear from me again over it ;-)

ok
about time for a long update
been an ok day at work, getting tired but feeling ok, my mate got promoted so its out to the pub for a drink tonight I think.
anyway, update update update
what to say...erm donno...
well we are at war..
sad to say, and I'm half trying to ignore it...
I wish it wasn't happening, I imagine any rational person would say the same, however it is, and there's not much we can do about it..
my dad has been quite unwell recently, I'm not going to go into details here, that wouldn't be fair...
however it has been quite scary and im glad to say he seems to be on the mend.
things in my life seem to have been fairly volatile on almost every front of late.
sometimes I need some real stability in my life..and sometimes there's none to be found..
everything seems to be changing, shifting, moving, and yet everything is the same...
nothing is certain
I guess it never is...
I've been thinking..
to even get by in life I have to believe certain things, I have to really feel they are true...if I don't my world would collapse.
I guess sometimes you need to communicate that you don't agree with everything, but that's ok...
I think often I would like to adopt other peoples points of view, the way they see the world..
but I think that's wrong, your point of view is your point of view..it can change, like anything, but ...what am I saying?!
who am I even talking to here?
woah this is getting deep...without making any sense...
so I'll stop :-)
hmmm, typed this last night and don't really have time to go over it and see if I still agree with myself :-)
(I've just tried and kinda made it even more confusing)

oh a happy anniversary to my gf, a year ago today we started going out!
I guess in some ways maybe this is making me reflective on a lot of things! :-)
last night was fun.
went to pub in slough with a few friends.
saw someone I haven't seen in a LONG time, and it was like going back in time.
I was amazed how cheap the drinks were and we went to a 'rock' type pub and that also brought the memories flooding back!
anyway, its the next morning, I am tired. just past midnight was WAY too late to get to bed when you have to get up at six! :-(

ok a little tidy on the nav bar.
I've decided to move stuff which I feel isn't finished to the development area.
it's amazing how quickly I get annoyed with things sometimes if it's not going as I want...

however I seem to have spent most of yesterday working on a site for one of my friends :-)

sigh, so long since an update..
ive been meaning to...honest
well what to tell? probably SOOOOOOOOO much....
I've been trying to come up with an idea to destroy the company I work for from within..i think I've got it...
I'll steal all the pens...
then they will be annoyed and get another pen...
then I'll steal that pen, and another as they replace the one I stole...
they will order more stock for pens...costing the company money...
then the company will run into debt and have to sell drugs and pimp to make more money
then they will get shut down...
genius huh? :-)
either pens or the keys from the keyboards perhaps....
I haven't decided yet...
anyway, enough madness, I'm sure plenty of things to update you with, kinda got a pay rise (yay!) erm things are good with my gf, life I busy but ok..and ive been playing computer games far too much! :-)
since...well had a LAN the last two weekends.
this last weekend was for my best friends 'stag do'
so rather than having strippers etc we played computer games all weekend! :-)
was good fun, and ill be linking photos as soon as I can.

it's Friday, im tired, but its been an ok day.
perhaps a little cheery now as ive got a lot done this afternoon and got our call back queue down to 2 calls!
and my team leader emailed myself my manager and his manager thanking me...
a nice gesture...
anyway, tired and wanna get out of here coz everyone else has :-)
but waiting for me gf.
she prolly has a bit to do as she's been training all day...
anyway, so what's new..good question...
I don't think I've done much this week apart from sleep early ish after watching TV.
on the Monday I did manage to play a little sim city 4, but I've felt too tired every other day to do it!
one of the things I was trying to do was to make a 'bad' town, you know, dirty polluted streets, broken roads, that kind of thing...
course I realised I had to make an ok town to get people in first before I make it a bad town...
but then as I started making the town I got a message from my towns people...
something along the lines of
'this town is great...you should model all your towns on this!
mad huh, here I am trying to torment my Sims and they are having the time of their life!
anyway, so that's that, after reading a guide on what to do I plan to spend at least a little time on it this weekend.
oh and speaking of 'sad' computer games that suck your life away, going to use 'the sims' to recreate mine and my girlfriends courtship!

we design a house for her and a house for me, create ourselves in the Sims and then copy this so we both have it on our pc's
then see how can be the quickest to get the other one to marry us!
lol..ok maybe we are a little sad...
or maybe we're just so cool you can't understand it...

mostly because I saw the re released 'ring'
