Not a good start to the day

Ok, well trains have been pants all this week because of rail work both sides into and out of London from slough.
This is a pain, but as I am catching an early 7.00 train it doesn't effect me too much.

The train usually pulls up at 7.03 and even though they have added a few stops to the journey at the moment, it only delays my total journey 10 mins.
So, I arrive at Paddington at 7.35 ish...I have about 40 mins to get to Liverpool street and meet my gf..usually no problem..
But today I go to the circle line, see an edgeware only tube coming (only 1 stop in the direction I need to go)
But if I get to edge ware I could catch a Hammersmith or a circle line train to Liverpool street, more choice more chance of getting there quicker.

so I get on the edgeware tube, get off at edgeware and as instructed my the voice of the tube driver run over to platforms one and two to continue my journey...

I see a train on platform two and jump on it...
this then takes me back to Paddington just in time for me to see the next circle line tube just leaving..
so..I have in fact wasted 10 mins or so...
I then get the next tube eastbound, another edgeware only tube..

Get to edgeware, am waiting 10 mins for any train...
I try to use a vending machine to get some chocolate I wanted to try to cheer myself up
The machine doesn't like my money.

The tube finally turns up, by which point my gf is half way to Liverpool street, I get on it, it's packed.

I decide to play Tetris to relieve my anger and help time speed by...
I beat my highest score...I manage to leave the name as 'player' my mistake!

I finally arrive at my destination

lets hope my day gets better from here on in! :-)
